Astragalus Root is an adaptogenic herb that helps the body cope with stress by lowering the stress hormone. It helps to support the immune system. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it's been used for thousands of years to help fight off stress and disease. Astragalus can act as an anti-inflammatory, help protect the cardiovascular system & help reduce blood pressure. Many elements in Astragalus help fight free radical damage.
Burdock Root has been used as a remedy for acne, eczema and psoriasis due to its antioxidants, as well as used in folk medicine as a blood purifier. It is also said to help protect the liver, help stimulate detoxification to the lymphatic system, and fight inflammation. Burdock root contains various minerals including magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, iron & copper, as well as vitamins C, B6 & folate.
Chicory Root has been shown to help reduce stress, contain anti-inflammatory properties, protect the liver and aid in digestive health. Chicory is also used as a coffee substitute.
Dandelion Root supports the digestive system and promotes healthy liver function. It is high in antioxidants, helping with skin issues. The body uses antioxidants to fight free radical damage. Dandelion root is a great source of fiber, vitamin A, vitamin K & calcium.

Serving: 1 TBS/ 2 C. water
Decoction Preparation Method:
Bring water to a boil on stovetop
- Add herbs, cover & reduce heat to low
- Simmer 20 minutes.
- Strain herbs
Add Raw Local Honey & milk of choice/milk alternative (to taste) and 1/2-1 tsp Coconut Oil (if hot)
Tips: try adding vanilla bean, raw cacao powder or stevia (as an alternative sweetener to honey)
